Our English Lab Boys

We are excited to introduce Finn.  Finn could have been named Mr. Friendly or Mr. Kindheart or The Willing One or to cover it in one word…Happy.  He is easy going, smart, good with other dogs and loves people. The classic English look with the wonderful family temperament make him a winner.  Finn is happy to play with the children, play fetch, swim, go on a walk, or keep your feet warm.  He comes from amazing lines which include AM CH Belquest Marked Impressions, BISS Am CH Borador’s by George, AM CH Hyspire’s Darktown Strutter and English import Rocheby lines.   We expect wonderful things from Finn and we are very fortunate to have him as part of our family.

We are excited to introduce Papa.  Papa has grown into a wonderful lab that beautifully represents the AKC breed standard.  He has a willingness and confidence to be open to any situation.  He is smart, attentive and wants to be by our side.  There is an exuberance in him because he LOVES people so much and he is a quick learner and wants ‘to do the right thing’.   A phenomenal retrieval drive is a top trait of Papa…he won’t give up until he locates and returns the object.  He is a sweet, smart, happy boy that is so pleasant to be around.   He comes from amazing lines which include CH Caer Bren Granville JH, BISS Am CH Borador’s by George, CH Kelder Labs Top Gun, CH Allegheny’s Crystal JH.   We are very fortunate to have him as part of our family.

Lightning seems to have taken the strong English blocky looks from his sire AM CH Ridge View’s Victor JH and others in his lines. He looks a little dark next to the WHITE snow but he is actually a light ivory.  He is easy going with the other dogs…he wouldn’t challenge anyone yet he is confident and stands tall and content. He is a beautiful boy with a matching temperament.

We are thrilled to be able to welcome Miles into our program.  He is such a sweet, inquisitive boy with an ease and gentleness about him.  He loves to be with his people to be sure but he is a best buddy with all of the other dogs as well.  Every being loves Miles.  To add to his resume of great traits would be his looks.  A solid top-line including the thick otter tail with the broad English chest and the solid rear make it a delight to look at Miles.  His sparkly eyes respond in novels after he intently listens to his people.  He has many champions in his lineage and we believe that many of these confirmed traits came his way as well.  His sire, Nipntuck All Aces “Gamble” also sired the Best in Sweeps winner at Potomac, 2017-Nipntuck Well Played.  Some names of possible recognition in his close generational lines are BISS GCH Dickendall Ironore Bluefish, Int CH Dual FR CH Carromer Charlie Chalk and CH Shannon Valley’s Beauregard.  Miles is a champion in our eyes as well even if he doesn’t get the opportunity to prove it at shows.  He has our hearts.

Trooper is a strong, masculine boy from a distance and a happy, loving, easy-going boy up close.  We are so happy with him. We always put temperament and health first as our priorities with any pairing and he has also captured looks, conformation to the AKC standard and hunting drive.   A nice double coat, the blocky, head, the thick otter tail with the nice tail set along with EXCELLENT hips are some of his physical traits.  Some of his lines include Tealwood Labrador lines, to BISS CH Blackthorn Simply Irresistible WC, BISS CH Tabatha’s Drifter at Dickendall JH and BISS Ch Ridge View Bugs Bunny.  Trooper is steady and READY…he is ready for the ball, for the lake, for the bird, for the walk or for the nap. Trooper is very present in all that he does but he is not demanding. Observing, following, tracking and pleasing are a few of his descriptors. Although you can’t see it in this picture…he is happy and grinning ear to ear most of the time.
